The Oriens Journal holds that the faith was handed down from our Blessed Lord and the Apostles by means of Sacred Tradition, and that the continued transmission of the faith from generation to generation is meant to pass through the minds and hearts of spiritual fathers who know what they have received and how to convey it to others. In an era disoriented by the breakdown of traditional structures, the Journal seeks to promote, by means of the paternity of the Catholic priesthood, knowledge of and appreciation for the fulness of Catholic Tradition, and thus inspire the next generation to know, love and spread their faith.
